Christina Montanari

Christina Montanari, a native of North Haven, Connecticut, has been a singer with the New Haven Chorale for seven years and is honored to begin her first season as the Executive Director of the Chorale.  Christina was most recently the Director of Development at Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, CT.  During her nine years at Long Wharf Theatre, Christina held various positions in the artistic and development departments and was integral in revitalizing the Theatre’s Jazz on the Wharf series and the annual fundraising Gala.  In addition to the annual Gala, Christina planned many events including play readings and workshops, donor cultivation and stewardship events, and community events for groups such as the Arts Council of Greater New Haven and the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce.  Christina managed the theatre’s Annual Fund and served as liaison to the Theatre’s Board of Trustees for four years.  Christina serves on the Steering Committee of the Not for Profit Council of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce and is an active member in choral groups at her church.  Christina earned her BA in English with honors at Providence College in Providence, RI.  Christina currently resides in North Haven with her husband, Craig, and their son, Cooper.
