ACCOMPANIST and
ASSISTANT CONDUCTOR
CAROLINA
FLORES,

Carolina Flores brings great energy and musicality to her work with the Chorale as assistant conductor and accompanist. A native of Spain, she completed undergraduate and graduate piano pedagogy studies at the Conservatory of Zaragoza and the Royal Superior Conservatory of Madrid, undergraduate and graduate piano-performance studies at the Manhattan School of Music, NYC, and a D.M.A. in choral conducting at The Hartt School of Music of the University of Hartford.
An internationally prize-winning concert pianist, as well as prodigious chorister, choral conductor, accompanist, and workshop leader, Dr. Flores has taught in many institutions including the University of Rhode Island and choral tours as director include performances in Austria, Italy and Spain. Currently she also serves as Director of Music at St. Theresa Church in Trumbull and adjunct faculty at The Hartt School. In addition to her vital behind-the-scenes rehearsal work with the Chorale, she conducts portions of Chorale concert performances and often conducts Chorale ensembles in their appearances around the community. Please join the Chorale in applauding her many contributions to the Chorale and to music in Connecticut.
