AUDITIONS FOR THE 2011-2012 SEASON
Any singer who desires to join the Chorale must audition with the Music Director, Edward Bolkovac.
A typical audition will include a brief warmup and a short solo performance, followed by sight reading and other exercises that the Music Director may require to determine a candidate's voice quality and level of vocal technique and musical skill. Interested singers should prepare a short solo work that they feel displays their vocal abilities and bring its score with them to the audition.
The New Haven Chorale has already held its Fall auditions for the 2011-2012 season.
Individual appointments can be scheduled at other times during the season, at the convenience of the director and depending on the Chorale's rehearsal workload. Interested singers are encouraged to call the Chorale office for appointments.
